Results of a new study published in the journal Biomed Central BMC showed turmeric extract was as effective as paracetamol in reducing pain and other symptoms of knee osteoarthritis (OA). The study demonstrated the bioavailable compound was more effective in reducing inflammation.

In the athletes, tomato powder enhanced total antioxidant capacity by 12%. Interestingly, the tomato powder treatment also resulted in a significantly reduced elevation of 8-isoprostane compared to both the lycopene supplement and the placebo. The tomato powder also significantly reduced exhaustive exercise MDA compared to the placebo, however, no such difference was indicated between the lycopene and placebo treatments.

The revised guidance adds significant detail to the list of essential critical infrastructure workers, adding specificity to the larger health care, law enforcement, transportation and food and agriculture industries.

So if someone from state law enforcement should show up and ask, 'Why are you open?’ they can directly point to the CISA guidance.”
Mister added, “When the first round of this memo came out, we were pretty confident that we would be included by inference … but it didn’t expressly say dietary supplements. You kind of had to read between the lines to read us into it.”
