Rwanda possesses a unique highland climate and rich volcanic soil, providing an ideal ecosystem for diverse flora. However, the local manufacturing of plant extract powder has historically remained fragmented, with most producers relying on traditional drying methods that often degrade active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).
Currently, the Rwandan health food sector is witnessing a surge in demand for standardized herbs extract. The government's focus on the "Made in Rwanda" initiative is pushing local factories to transition from importing finished supplements to producing high-value concentrates domestically.
Despite the availability of raw biomass, there is a significant gap in advanced solvent recovery and vacuum concentration technologies. This creates a critical need for industrial-grade grass extract and specialized powders that meet international E-E-A-T standards for safety and efficacy.
